1. Purpose: To strengthen the legal analysis and writing capabilities of law students, this essay award has been established by LCS & Partners since 2004. 2. Eligibility: Applicants must be currently enrolled students in law departments (including schools of technology law and intellectual property law, but excluding other departments). 3. Application Procedure: Please submit your essay along with your CV by email to lcshr@lcs.com.tw (Attn: Director Chang, Tel: 2729-8000, ext. 7759). 4. Competition Content and Evaluation: The award will be conducted as an essay competition. Submissions must not exceed 10,000 words. Applicants are encouraged to adopt a case analysis approach and express their own perspectives. Shortlisted applicants, upon notification by our office, will be further invited to provide an oral presentation of their essay via phone to complete the review process. Preferred topics: Energy Law FinTech Mergers & Acquisitions Fair Trade Law Banking Law, Securities and Exchange Law, Insurance Law Legal Issues relating to Artificial Intelligence (AI) Intellectual Property Rights Taxation Trusts Securities and Financial Litigation 5. Number of Awards and Prizes:     First Prize: NT$40,000; Second Prize: NT$35,00; Third Prize: NT$30,000.  Award recipients who pass the interview will be given priority for admission as summer interns. 6. Application Deadline:     November 30, 2025. 7. Award Ceremony:     Winners will be notified and invited to attend the award ceremony at our office.
